A Fifth of iPhone Owners Will Buy the Apple Watch

18 per cent of iPhone 6 owners say they will definitely buy the forthcoming Apple Watch.
Thats according to a BI Intelligence report, based on a survey by Credit Suisse. A further 11 per cent said they would probably buy the device – leaving the grand majority, 72 per cent, unconvinced ahead of the watchs launch.
However, given that Apple sold 10m units of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus in the first three days after their launch last September – and a total 57m in Q4, according to KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuos estimates – that could still translate to some very healthy sales for the Apple Watch. 
Credit Suisse estimates that this interest would add up to sales of around 35m units, but says it expects Apple to only manufacture 20m of the smartwatches in 2015.
