AdsNative Raises $2m to Support Growth of Native Supply-side Platform

AdsNativeSan Francisco’s AdsNative has closed a $2m (£1.2m) round of funding led by ad tech specialists InterWest Partners.

The company is seeking to grow its supply-side platform where publishers can sell in-feed native inventory across mobile and desktop. They are hiring engineering and business teams to support this growth, with a view to making non-standard ads the new normal.

The platform enables publishers to add their own native ad networks or exchanges and automatically ensures maximum fill-rates.

“With the growth of native ad networks and exchanges, publishers are looking for the best ways to manage backfill from native networks, in addition to their direct-sold campaigns, without spending efforts in ad-ops and engineering,” said Satish Polisetti, AdsNative CEO.

Others that joined the funding round include ONSET Ventures, Foundry Group Angel via AngelList, KBS+ Ventures and ad-tech angels Mike Kerns and Barry Honig.
