The free app recreates Amazon’s eCommerce offering, optimised for the iPad and iPad Mini, with all the usual features – personalised recommendations, wish lists, one-click ordering, and the rest.

This app makes it easy to browse millions of products, and scroll through product images and details on a single page. Customers can view the latest deals, watch movie trailers, and even listen to song samples.”
The app is the first time the retailer’s UK arm has released a dedicated iPad app – it previously had a universal iOS app.
Amazon.com, meanwhile, has gone the other way, bringing its Instant Video app – which launched for iPad in August – to iPhone and iPod. The app enabels users to download and watch videos they’ve rented via Amazon.
