Australian MVNO Shuts Shop After Eight Months

Kogan Mobile, an Australian MVNO running off the Telstra network which launched in December, has announced it will be closing its doors in 30 days time.

The closure is a result of ispOne, Kogans wholesale supplier, entering voluntary administration in the midst of a legal battle with Telstra.

Subscribers will be moved to a limited seven-day plan on a staggered basis, to give them the chance to use their remaining allowance of calls, messages and data, after which their number will only be able to receive calls.

ALDImobile, another MVNO which used ispOne as its middleman, will be staying open, however, as parent company Medion has entered into an agreement with Telstra directly.
