With the shortlist announced, the countdown to our 2015 Effective Mobile Marketing Awards is truly on. Were less than a month away from the ceremony, which takes place on 26 November in London, and between now and then well be taking a closer look at each of the finalists in our 32 categories. Today, were highlighting the nominees for Most Effective b2b App.

BROWZ for Clients
The BROWZ for Clients app gives enterprise organisations real-time access to view and manage their supply chain, checking compliance, monitoring supply levels, contacting suppliers and more all through a phone or tablet.

Supply chain management has typically been restricted to desktops in the past, but with an increasing number of businesses looking to manage supplies, infrastructure and fleets while on the go, BROWZ provides real-time data that can work at scale.

Carlson Wagonlit Travel
After identifying the need for an app that provides all the features needed by a business traveller on the go, the team behind Carlson Wagonlit Travel set out to create just that app, integrating hotel and flight booking with itinerary management, mobile check-in, synced calendars and loyalty program details.

The app has over 465,000 registered users, over half of whom are frequent business travellers, and has achieved a 4.5 star rating on the Apple App Store and 4.4 on Google Play. The focus on developing a mobile platform that works door-to-door has resulted in a one-stop app that prevents clutter and stores all the information a business traveller needs in a single place.

London’s Air Ambulance With EE and Mubaloo – Dispatch App
Time is the most important factor when it comes to critical illnesses and injuries, especially when Londons Air Ambulance is concerned. The emergency response team deals with an average of 2,000 urgent cases across the London area every year, and each second saved is important.

The dispatch app created in partnership with EE and Mubaloo enables ground crews to be re-dispatched in as little as 10 seconds, and shaves an average of two minutes off the time of the dispatch process, saving lives and reducing some of the stresses that come with such a critical job.

Nimbletank – Soundjack Tablet App for Venue Hosts
Soundnet wanted to create a brand new mobile-first business proposition with Soundjack – a digital jukebox for venues and their customers. Their consumer-facing app received a commendation at last years awards, and the b2b proposition adds several new key features.

The b2b Android app comes pre-loaded on an Asus Memo Pad 7, providing venues with a mobile way of managing their soundsystem. The dashboard visualises data and provides real-time analytics, and managers can tailor music to suit different audiences, moods, events, time of day and even season. In addition, a b2b website helped connect the proposition with brands, venue managers and owners, resulting in over 1,000 tablets delivered across the UK.
