Beleaguered BlackBerry has suffered another network outage that appears to be affecting Vodafone users across EMEA.
Perhaps learning a lesson from the previous outage last October, RIM came clean about the problem via Twitter and Facebook this morning, with a message saying: “We are currently experiencing a BlackBerry service issue impacting some users in Europe, Middle East & Africa. All relevant support teams are working to resolve the issue. We apologize to any customers who may be affected.”
A spokesperson in the UK confirmed that the problem appeared to only be affecting Vodafone users. A full press release has not been issued.
This is the last thing that RIM needs on the day that the iPhone 5 launches in the UK and US.
