BlackBerry Trialling Free OTT Calls in BBM

BlackBerry is testing an OTT voice call feature for BBM.
The Voice feature will be coming to the BB10, Android and iOS versions of the messaging apps in the next couple of months, according to BlackBerry.
Its currently being tested along with a range of other features including integrated content sharing, new emoticons and, most interestingly, the ability to make location public to a selected contact for a limited period of time. 
Social engagement platform BBM Channels will be also be making the move to iOS and Android.
BlackBerry also announced, earlier this week, that the BBM app will come preinstalled on selected Android handsets, beginning with the LG G Pro Lite.
