The Effective Mobile Marketing Awards ceremony is less than a week away, and we will have our regular preview of the contenders a little later today. In the meantime, we were looking back through the entries to see how we were looking in terms of brands whose work features in this year’s awards. And to put it bluntly, we were shocked when we realised what an impressive roster it is.
Here then, is the full roll call, not including all the great mobile and digital agencies that have played such an important role in helping these brands on their mobile journeys. We don’t underestimate the importance of their contribution, but we feel it is worth flagging up the well-known, in most cases global brands, spanning multiple sectors, from financial services to automotive, who are now full steam ahead on mobile. Take a deep breath then, here, in no particular order, are the brands featuring in this year’s Awards program…
Barclays, Easyjet, Samsung, Mazda, La Redoute, McDonalds, 20th Century Fox, Papa John’s, Renault, Nokia, Kia, Hotels.com, Starbucks, BHS, The Body Shop, Pizza Hut, Auto Trader, Volkswagen, Audi, Orange, The Science Museum, Nestle, Macmillan, Sport Relief, Unilever Dove, Faberge, BlockBuster, British Gas, John Lewis, Carphone Warehouse, Virgin Atlantic, Cargo Homeshop, Furniture Village, Screwfix, Murat Paris, Nectar, Hyundai, Mercedes, Furniture Village, QuakerOats, Copa Airlines, O2, Facebook, Debenhams, Unilever Cornetto, The Guardian, and The Design Museum.
Phew. And many of these will be in attendance at next week’s Awards Ceremony. They won’t all win of course, but we salute their commitment to mobile.
