Brandtone Appoints Peter Bamford as Chairman

Peter BamfordMobile marketing business Brandtone has announced it is appointing Peter Bamford as its new Chairman in a move towards expanding its global reach.

Bamford currently chairs Six Degrees Technology Group, Superdry parent company Supergroup and music licensing business PRS, as well as acting as non-executive director of Rentokil Initial. He has considerable experience in the mobile telecommunications sector, having sat on the board of Vodafone Group for nearly a decade, and acted as its global Chief Marketing Officer from 2003 to 2006.

Brandtone plans to have Bamford oversee its international expansion and help build on its work with clients such as Unilever, PepsiCo and Mondel?z. He will also contribute to the development of the companys product set and help maintain its agility and responsiveness as the company grows to meet the needs of global clients.
