Citadel Realises its AR Potential

Realise Digital has teamed with Bl!nder and Sigma Films to create an AR-enabled ad to promote British horror film Citadel.

The ad uses Aurasma Technology to trigger video content – in this case, a trailer specially edited into a mobile-friendly portrait orientation – when a mobile device using the app is pointed at the films poster, which has been appearing around Austin, Texas, during SXSW. After the video, viewers are encouraged to use Facebook to interaction with the campaign further.

“We are very excited to be one of the first films to use this new technology,” says Katie Holly, producer, Bl!nder Films. “Its a revolutionary way to tease and attract an audience to your film and SXSW is the perfect place to employ this innovative app”.
