247Sport Brings Live Commentary to Mobile

InfoMedia has launched 247Sport, an app which provides users with live scores, up-to-date news and match commentaries for a range of sports. Developed together with TEAMtalk Media, the HTML5 app offers live audio commentary as an in-app purchase for sports including football, F1, and tennis.

Orange users will have access to the app and audio commentary as part of the operator's Swapables promotion.

“Some time ago we identified the need for a comprehensive, multi-sport news and data mobile service that could be accessed regardless of operating system or device and that could be properly commercialised with advertising and sponsorship," says Michael Tomlins, CEO of InfoMedia.
