7Digital and Samsung Team Up for Free Music Streaming

Samsung has signed a deal with 7digital to offer free music streaming for Galaxy S3 users in Europe. 

Media streaming company 7digital, which offers a service similar to Spotify, will supply music via Samsung's Music Hub app - which was built using 7digital's API, and offers more than 20m MP3 tracks from the major four labels.

The partnership will see users given one free album as well as a free trial of the service. It's part of what feels like a relentless marketing offensive from Samsung at the moment, intended to attract users to the Music Hub Premium service, which costs £9.99 per month for unlimited streaming.
