BigTime and Etisalat launch text-to-win campaign

Mobile messaging firm BigTime has launched a text-to-win campaign in the Ivory Coast with network provider Etisalat. The Moovgagnant campaign lasts for two months, during which Etistalat subscribers can register by sending by texting the word 'Moov' to a shortcode. Any registered users will receive interactive questions via SMS, which they can answer to accumulate points, giving them the chance to win cash prizes.

“BigTime keeps growing its geographical footprint to the emerging markets of sub-Saharan Africa by entering the vibrant market of Côte d'Ivoire. The West Africa Region is a very dynamic market and Etisalat Telecom is one of the major names in the region,” says Dimitris Papazisis, CEO of BigTime. “Mobile marketing is a brilliant way of getting closer to customers to give them even more out of their network, and we are delighted to be partnering with Etisalat in this promotional campaign.”
