DFW Airport App Takes Flight

Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) has launched its official mobile app, which was developed based on feedback gathered from DFW customers. 

The app features flight information and tracking; flight and gate updates with alert notifications; parking rates and availability; restaurant and shopping information; and the “within five minutes of my gate” feature, which highlights nearby restaurants and shops located close to a particular departure gate.

 “We listened to what our customers had to say about the types of functionality they want in an airport-based mobile app, and our beta testers’ contributions were invaluable,” said Sharon McCloskey, VP of Marketing at DFW. “With 85 per cent of DFW travelers now using smartphones, features like up-to-date parking availability will not only be innovative but really helpful for customers.”
