The Sun Rises on iPad

Australian newspaper The Herald Sun has launched an iPad app. Created by software development company WoodWing, the app delivers interactive live content across the publication's News, Sports and Confidential sections, alongside its supplementary categories, including Cars Guide, Sunday, and Taste.

The app makes use of WoodWing's multiple publishing features enabling more interactivity for  readers to access videos, social media channels, email and live updates on editorial content.

“This project greatly benefits from the workflow efficiency offered by WoodWing Enterprise and its content management application content station, and fully leverages the creative power of WoodWing´s digital publishing tools,” says Andrew Lomas, sales and projects director at Creative Folks.
