Moneto Mobile Wallet Launches in Europe

DeviceFidelity and Vincento Payment Solutions, in partnership with MasterCard, have launched their Moneto mobile wallet app in the UK.

The prepaid mobile wallet, which uses NFC capabilities, launched in the US earlier this year, and a wider European roll out is promised this year.

The European version of the app combines MasterCard’s PayPass technology with DeviceFidelity’s iCaisse4X case, which enables app users to have tap & go functionalities on their iPhone. It can be used to pay at almost 500,000 locations in 41 different countries.

Moneto is a significant step in achieving that goal.”
