MoZeus Uses Augmented Reality to Raise Money for Charity
![]()
Mobile marketing company MoZeus has started using its consumer photo app to raise money for charity.
The Mozeus app uses AR to embed celebrities into the phone display so that when users snap a photo, it looks as if they are standing next to the celebrity in the picture. For this particular fundraiser, three NFL footballers - the Kansas City Chiefs' Jamaal Charles, the San Francisco 49ers' Chris Culliver, and the Baltimore Ravens' Ray Lewis - will be participating.
One fan will win an opportunity to meet the players in real life, and have a photo taken with them, with proceeds from each app sale put towards several different charity organizations.
“We’re excited to have three NFL stars who are at the top of their profession, but are also fully engaged in social media outlets such as Twitter and Facebook,” said Charles Jones, Co-Founder and COO for MoZeus Worldwide. “MoZeus is excited about this partnership and what this new approach to celebrity charity engagement will mean to fans worldwide.”
