Take Care Clinics Uses iTriage to Launch Mobile Appointment Scheduling

Take Care Health Systems, a network of walk-in clinics found in Walgreens stores across the US, has launched a mobile initiative that offers patients mobile appointment scheduling using iTriage’s healthcare app. Patients who schedule an appointment using the app receive an immediate response to confirm the slot's availability.

The app also features access to information on symptoms, medical conditions and a medical provider directory.

“Today’s consumers are increasingly turning to their mobile devices to access health care information and services, wherever they are and whenever they need it,” says Heather Helle, divisional VP of Walgreens Consumer Solutions Group. “Integrating with the mobile and online appointment-setting technology of iTriage allows us to provide our patients with another tool to help them better manage their personal health care.”

The initiative is currently being piloted at select Chicago and Denver locations.
