Vodafone Eyes Telstraclear Acquisition

Vodafone says it has entered into discussions with Telstra, Australia’s largest telco, regarding a potential acquisition of Telstrclear, Telstra’s New Zealand subsidiary. The operator says that discussions are continuing and there is no certainty as to whether an agreement will be reached. It adds that a further announcement will be made in due course, if appropriate.
