Simon HamptonAs we approach our Mobile Gambling Summit, well be looking at some of the speakers, sponsors and events that delegates can expect to enjoy on the day.

Returning for its second year, the event is taking place at Londons One America Square, near Tower Hill, on Thursday 18 September. It will explore how brands can deliver a consistent mobile experience, while at the same time ensuring your products are relevant for each channel, convening some of the brightest minds working across numerous game types to give brands the context they need to understand this fast-changing landscape.

Simon Hampton

Simon Hampton is currently a lecturer in psychology at the University of East Anglia. He studied at the London School of Economics as an undergraduate, and completed his PhD at Durham University. His interests focus on the interface between biological and social forms of explanation in psychology and the social sciences, and his current work is concerned with how the public understands psychological science.

He has consulted for several FTSE 100 companies including Ladbrokes about the adoption and future uses of smart mobile devices, putting forward the idea that the personal and tactile nature of mobile devices makes advertising on them radically different.

On the day, Simon will be addressing how impulsive decisions change the meaning of money, examining how psychologists categorise the decision making process, and looking at how mobile feeds into it, shaping and facilitating the mental states of people who are in the bet.

Tickets for the event are still available, and cost £395. As well as access to the conference and Innovation Lab, tickets entitle each delegate to five 15-minute consultations with experts from the mobile industry who are poised to help your address their marketing challenges.
