The 2016 Effective Mobile Marketing Awards are almost here, and our Awards Ceremony this Thursday evening is sure to be the best night of the year for the mobile marketing industry, as we celebrate another 12 months of successes and innovative mobile campaigns.
The Awards Ceremony, which takes place at The Grange Tower Bridge Hotel, will see the winners for our 29 categories and four People's Choice categories revealed, along with Highly Commended entries in a number of categories.
The Awards themselves are just the start of the evening though. The Ceremony includes entertainment by Chris Turner, who attendees to our 2014 Awards will no doubt remember.
Chris is an award-winning comedian and freestyle rapper who has performed all over the world, appeared live on BBC Radio 2 and 6Music, and performed sold-out runs at festivals worldwide. We are delighted to welcome Chris back to the Effective Mobile Marketing Awards, and can't wait to see what he has in store for us this year.
Our Awards after-party also promises to be a night to remember, with legendary DJ Graeme Park closing the ceremony with a special set created just for the event that promises to kickstart a night of dancing and debauchery.
Graeme is one the UK's most respected DJs, and a founding father of House music and club culture. His career stretches from seminal residencies at The Hacienda and Cream to radio shows on Kiss FM, playing clubs around the world and remixing artists including New Order, ABC and A Tribe Called Quest.
Whether you're a seasoned clubber who remembers the Summer of Love, or a young EDM fan ready to cut loose, you can expect a spectacular mix of house standards, modern cuts and the odd Hacienda classic thrown in while you dance the night away and celebrate with the best and brightest in mobile marketing.
So if you're attending our Awards Ceremony, make sure you bring your finest dancing shoes, and if you're not able to make it, you can always follow along on our Awards Twitter account and the #EMMAs hashtag for a glimpse at the night's festivities.
