Google has pushed a big update to its Android Maps app that enables people to see upcoming events in the area, offers indoor maps and lets people save maps for later.
As well as offering users the ability to view maps while offline, bringing it in line with others like Londons City Mapper, the latest update to Google Maps shows nearby events at participating venues. 
The app hasnt found favour with all users, many saying Google is favouring advertiers over users and that they may be prepared to pay to get a good service…
