Gruner + Jahr Picks PubMatic to Go Programmatic

G+J PubMaticG+J e|MS, the marketing unit of German publishing firm Gruner + Jahr, has partnered with PubMatic to extend its programmatic advertising activities.

G+J's portfolio of premium inventory has a reported reach of 18.2m mobile users across its own publications, such as Stern and Eltern, as well as other properties including Spiegel, Vodafone Live and online dictionary PONS, all of which will now be traded programmatically through its SSP solution.

“As the various deal types – open RTB, PMP, AG – and their differentiation to direct business continue to evolve in programmatic advertising, publishers need to be able to provide appropriate technical mobile solutions to serve these market demands and to benefit from their enormous potential,” said Eric Hall, PubMatic's country manager, Germany, Austria & Switzerland.
