Havas Acquires Plastic Mobile to Strengthen Mobile Expertise

havas plastic mobile acquisitionCommunications group Havas is hoping to strengthen its mobile credentials with the acquisition of Canadian mobile agency Plastic Mobile, creating a full-service mobile agency with practice areas in user experience, design, strategy and engineering.

Plastic Mobile, who focus on app development and mCommerce solutions, will be integrated within Canadas Havas Village offer, which also includes Havas Worldwide, Havas Worldwide Digital and Havas Media.

The combination of units will further the companys mobile and digital capabilities in Canada and the rest of North America, and follows on from the recent restructuring of Havas Worldwides operations in Canada.
