Hemnet Selects PubMatic for Programmatic Drive

HemnetSupply Side Platform PubMatic has added Swedish firm Hemnet to its roster of publishers. PubMatic has been appointed to drive Hemnet’s programmatic ad strategy across its desktop and mobile inventory.

Hemnet is Sweden's most popular real estate search service, drawing around 2.6m unique visitors per week. Demand for programmatic inventory in Sweden is rising. PubMatic’s Q4 2015 Quarterly Mobile Index (QMI) revealed that monetized mobile impression volume in EMEA overall was up 82 per cent in Q4 2015, year-over-year.

“We decided to expand our advertising operations into programmatic because many of our customers have expressed interest in these solutions, and the technology is mature,” said Christian Viklund, director, commercial analysis at Hemnet. “We chose PubMatic because they are a large, stable company with a very strong local presence and expertise.”
