Hudl Takes 7 Per Cent of UK Budget Tablet Web Traffic

hudl_hero_544x331Tesco’s hudl budget tablet now accounts for 7 per cent of web traffic from UK budget tablets, less than three months after its launch on 30 September, according to data from 51Degrees.mobi. Last week, Tesco revealed that it had sold more than 300,000 hudl tablets.

The hudl seems to have directly impacted the Nexus 7, which has lost 8.82 per cent web traffic share since the hudls release. By contrast, the 7-inch Kindle Fire HD seems to have been unaffected by the hudls release.

Googles Nexus 7 and Amazons Kindle Fire HD (7″) have a combined share of 88.43 per cent, down from 96.23 per cent three months ago.
