Infographic: UK Tablet Adoption is Almost Double That of US

Tablet devices are continuing to grow rapidly, with the UK at the forefront of moving away from traditional desktop and laptop computers and adopting tablets, a new report by Usablenet shows.

In the UK, 59 per cent of households own at least one tablet, almost double the 30 per cent of US households with a device. 26m people in the UK will regularly use a tablet in 2014, with 12 per cent of people using them to navigate, 66 per cent researching products on one and 31 per cent using them to make purchases.
