It’s Showtime

It’s a big night for us this evening as we celebrate the very best the mobile marketing industry has to offer with the 2011 Effective Mobile Marketing Awards Ceremony, headline-sponsored by Upstream, and co-sponsored by OpenMarket and Propel in London.  250 mobile industry movers and shakers from brands, agencies and operators from around the world are joining us for the event, which recognises excellence in mobile marketing across 17 categories.

Every day for past couple of weeks, we have been showcasing the finalists in one of the categories. If you missed any, just search the term ‘Awards Preview’ using the search box top centre of the site to find the one you’re interested in. If you’re joining us this evening, or even if you’re not, the hashtag for the event is #mmmawards. We are expecting a fabulous evening, and while only one of the shortlisted entries in each category can win, everyone who has made it on to the shortlist should feel proud of their achievement in doing so. Such was the standard of entries this year that there were some excellent ones that didn’t make the cut.

Win or not – there are no losers tonight – we hope everyone attending the event has a great evening, and we thank our sponsors for their support, and our judges for their time, diligence and expertise. The Awards Ceremony kicks off at 7pm. We can’t wait to get started.
