On Wednesday 4 July, at 3pm BST, Mobile Marketing will holding its very first ‘Twinterview’ – a live interview conducted entirely via Twitter. The interview will be the first of in a regular series of weekly Live Twitter Chats ahead of Mobile Marketing Live, our new two day exhibition, conference, training and networking event for the global mobile marketing business.
For the inaugural Live Twitter Chat, we’ll be speaking to Peter Briffett, UK & Ireland general manager at daily deals company Living Social. Briffett will be speaking at Mobile Marketing Live on the subject of SoLoMo – where social, local and mobile commerce meet – and the changing psychology of consumers.
During the interview, we’ll be finding out more about what Briffett is talking about at the event, what’s exciting Living Social in the mobile marketing space, and who he’s putting his money on in the Android vs iOS battle – but we’ll also be crowdsourcing questions. So, to follow the interview live, and to submit any questions you want to put to Briffett, just follow @MMLiveGlobal, and keep your eyes on the #MMLLS hashtag on 4 July.
We’ll be holding weekly Twitter Chats with various speakers in the run up to the event. On 11 July, we’ll be speaking to Domino’s Pizza head of commercial systems Paul Francis (look out for #MMLDM) and on 18 July, it’s StrikeAd UK sales director Paul Gubbins (#MMLSA). Also lined up are Barclaycard’s David Chan, Mindshare’s James Chandler, and mobile marketing pioneer Russell Buckley.
