Jusp mPOS Solution Earns Highest Security Certification

jusp-device-3Mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) provider Jusp has announced it has earned the highest possible security level certifications for its mPOS solution and as a result have released its product for commercial use via its website.

The full range of PCI security certifications (EMV level 1 and 2, PCI PTS 3.1, SRED) have only been achieved by a small number of companies worldwide, and follows a pilot launch in Italy last year. Having achieved certification, Jusp will start selling its mPOS device through its website, beginning with customers in Italy before rolling out to the rest of Europe. The company is planning to expand to the US in 2015, when the country plans to begin its transition to EMV in earnest.

While the mPOS units are expected to sell well to main street retailers and micro merchants, Jusps main target is large corporations, and it has announced its first corporate client, a worldwide insurance company.

The insurance client will also be the first to use Jusps new feature Payments List, which enables companies to use its browser application to prepare a list of payment packages in advance. Once in the field, sales teams are able to view and process payments associated with products using the Jusp app.

“Payments List benefits large retailers and corporate customers that have an existing Window-based infrastructure in place,” said Giuseppe Sapanaro, COO at Jusp. “Jusps payment technology seamlessly integrates all the elements needed for automatic payment reconciliation; theres no need for reconfiguring the system or recoding the browser solution or app.”
