German ad tech company KissMyAds says it has developed a way for companies that haven’t yet built a mobile website to offer mobile ads and monetise their smartphone and tablet traffic.
Using the Intelligent App Banner publisher product, when visited by a mobile user, the desktop site will be able to display app banners, interstitials and banner rolls optimised for the small screen.
“Our new product creates an intelligent connection between conventional websites and mobile marketing”, says Florian Lehwald, CEO and founder of KissMyAds. “We have often heard from publishers that tablet traffic redirected to old desktop sites leads to suboptimal revenues, because the advertising is far less attractive. Therefore we have prioritised our efforts to solve this, providing a solution that helps our partners maximise their income.”
