Marmalade Updates SDK

Cross-platform app development company Marmalade has released version 5.2 of its Software Development Kit (SDK). As well as including new application programming interfaces (APIs) for creating native user interfaces, the SDK is compatible with Android 4.0, the Kindle Fire and Samsungs bada 2.0. Marmalade enables users to develop their app code and UI once, and deploy simultaneously to iOS and Android.

“By creating native user experiences across multiple platforms from the same code base, Marmalade is dramatically decreasing cost and time to market for many app developers,” says Tamir Strauss, Marmalades EVP of product. “By simplifying cross-platform development, we’re opening up the opportunities it presents to the widest audience possible.”
