McDonalds Rolls Out Wireless Charging in the UK

McDonald’s UK has partnered with Aircharge to introduce wireless smartphone charging to 50 of its restaurants.
In total, 600 of the hotspots – which were designed to be water resistant and wipe-clean, are being deployed – following an initial trial last year.
The hotspots use the Qi standard, which is compatible with over 70 smartphones currently on the market, from the likes of Samsung, HTC and Motorola.
