Mobbo has released its Power Index, which offers app publishers and marketers benchmarks of mobile app SDK components. With app developers inundated with SDK choices, the Mobbo Power Index offers app publishers and marketers benchmarks of mobile app SDK components, helping them to make informed decisions about the best technology stacks.
The report sheds light on the scale and performance of popular SDK components. For the research, Mobbo studied a database of over 2m analyzed apps, and 1,000 SDK components across iOS and Android and all categories.
The findings provide valuable information for app publishers in their quest to pinpoint the best SDKs to integrate with, as well as for service providers in the mobile app economy who want to understand the competitive landscape in their field.
The report found that 80 per cent of ‘Top 500 Overall’ ranked apps on iOS, have implemented an attribution SDK, which seems to have become a must-have component of any mobile app tech stack. AppsFlyer dominates, with 60 per cent Android market share and 50 per cent iOS market share globally, followed by Adjust with 24 per cent and 26 per cent, and Tune with 10 per cent and 9 per cent, respectively.
When isolating Android apps with over 10m installs, things are tighter, with AppsFlyer still leading the pack, although by a smaller margin with 35 per cent of the market, followed by Adjust with 29 per cent and Tune with 22 per cent.
