Mobile shopping cart provider MobiCart has launched an HTML5 web app to add to its native iPhone, iPad and Android app offerings. The web app works across all platforms, and can be installed in seconds with the addition of one line of code to the head section of a website.
“The additional platform means we are now readily accessible to anyone wanting to sell their products on mobile phones and Tablets,” says Mobicart director, Wladimir Baranoff-Rossine. “Mobile commerce should not be about native apps versus web apps. It should be about offering the best possible experience to your customers on any mobile device. Retailers need to have a strategy for both options. Both separately have their advantages, but together work seamlessly, offering an all-round user experience.”
