News UK has launched Sun Play, a gaming app for mobile, tablet and desktop, offering free and real money cash games.

News UK partnered with b2b mobile gaming content developer Nektan to create and operate the Sun Play site, following the popularity of The Sun’s existing gaming portfolio, which includes Sun Bingo and Fabulous Bingo. News UK will be responsible for marketing the service, while Nektan will continue to bring new content to the site and operate the end-to-end player management experience and back office operations through its Evolve technology platform.

Sun Play includes two free skill games – the football-themed Striker Keepy Uppy and Beach Blast, in which players must match three symbols within a set time limit. Credit bonuses are awarded for high scores, which can be used towards Sun Play’s 12 cash games.
