Nike+ Running App Comes to Samsung Gear S

nike samsungSportswear giant Nike has partnered with Samsung to introduce its Nike+ Running App to the newly announced Samsung Gear S.

The app will come pre-loaded on the Samsung Gear S, and utilises the Gear S built-in Bluetooth and 3G connectivity to bring Nikes running experience to Gear users for the first time.

The app enables users to map runs and track progress, providing running metrics including distance, pace, heart rate and time in real time. The Gear S version includes a built-in music player, GPS and social network connectivity aimed at keeping runners motivated with support from Facebook friends.
