OpenMarket’s latest whitepaper looks at mobile payments and crediting. It includes the findings of research conducted by the company into consumer attitudes to mobile payments and crediting.
The whitepaper notes that quick, simple and secure mobile payment mechanisms such as Payforit in the UK are enabling brands and retailers to reach this segment of the mCommerce universe, while also allowing them to initiate conversations with the consumer through mobile marketing campaigns, such as mobile crediting. Although mobile may still not be a channel to engage with customers and boost demand either in store, or online, while building an opted-in mobile database.
