US clothing retailer Perry Ellis is rolling out mobile sales assistant tools across its stores. Starmount is providing the back-end software and an app to help staff improve customer service after a pilot across 17 of its stores.
Staff will be able to offer product and price lookup to customers, make recommendations and provide access to customer loyalty information. If an item is out of stock, sales associates can check inventory and fulfill the order from the online channel or other store locations.
