Pizza Hut Launches Free Wi-fi

Pizza Hut UK has teamed up with O2 to launch free wifi across its UK Dine-in restaurants. The roll out started this month and is already available in 100 restaurants, with full deployment expected to be completed in early 2013.

Customers sign-up once for O2 Wifi and can then use service in any Pizza Hut UK Dine-in restaurant, or at any of O2’s Wifi estate of hotspots in over 6,000 locations nationwide.Users can also download O2 Wifi’s free iPhone and Android app which allows them to sign up to O2 Wifi.

“Pizza Hut is a place where people can come together and connect, and now they can be connected to anyone, anywhere when they’re with us,” said Clark Wilson, head of marketing at Pizza Hut UK. “The benefits of the service are extensive – it’s quick and easy to use, and most importantly families can be confident that O2 Wifi really is for all, as the service prevents access to sites with adult content. We want our guests to have fantastic, memorable experiences in our restaurants, and introducing a high quality, free wi-fi service not only widens what we currently offer, but creates the bases for further interactive experiences in the future.”

Pizza Hut joins other brands offering O2 Wifi, including McDonald’s, Costa, Debenhams, Fuller’s pubs, House of Fraser, All Bar One, and Harvester.
