Digital wallet provider CardMobili has reached an agreement with Portugal Telecom for the network operator to take over management of its mobile consumer loyalty service, MEO CardMobili.

“Portugal Telecom Groups decision to integrate MEO CardMobili into its digital services strategy reflects the enormous success that the service has had in both Portugal and internationally,” said Helena Leite, CardMobilis CEO. “We are delighted to see our concept become part of a much bigger consumer offering, within PTs highly successful MEO residential and mobile brand.

“CardMobili is an established PT partner in the domestic market and, for us, this represents a very natural transition, ensuring seamless service continuity and a guarantee of its value to users and existing businesses.”

The move builds on CardMobilis track record of service roll outs, encompassing integration into existing mCommerce programmes, such as rewards and loyalty, as well as launches of brand new services.
