A collaboration between games company RM Productions and students at the University of Central Lancashire has resulted in the creation of Cotton Pops, an app game.
The app was developed to mark the Preston Guild 2012 – a historic celebration held every 20 years in the city.
Cotton Pops is one of the Made In Preston portfolio of projects and was funded by UCLan, Preston City Council, Lancaster University, and Lancashire County Developments – Lancashire County Council’s economic development department. 
The game, expected to launch next month, is a warm-up version of the Guild Key – am interactive treasure hunt which will be launched next year.
