The partnership will see POStech provide QikServe’s patented ‘Waiter in your Pocket’ technology to its clients across the country, enabling restaurants, hotels and other venues to let guests order and pay for hospitality services direct from their smartphones.
As well as providing consumers with an engaging channel to connect with brands, the app automatically captures customer data which can then be used by the operator to power highly targeted marketing campaigns.
QikServe’s platform can be used as a standalone, customer-branded app or can be fully integrated into existing apps and POS platforms. It works with technologies such as in-store beacons and QR codes to prompt guests to download and use the app, and enables users to open their check, add, remove and customise orders, and pay for services.
