QikServe and POStech Partner to Take on Ireland’s Hospitality Sector

iPhone-QikServe-5.0-Loyalty-1wMobile ordering and payment specialist QikServe has signed a distribution agreement with point-of-sale systems provider POStech that will target the hospitality industry in Ireland.

The partnership will see POStech provide QikServe’s patented ‘Waiter in your Pocket’ technology to its clients across the country, enabling restaurants, hotels and other venues to let guests order and pay for hospitality services direct from their smartphones.

As well as providing consumers with an engaging channel to connect with brands, the app automatically captures customer data which can then be used by the operator to power highly targeted marketing campaigns.

QikServe’s platform can be used as a standalone, customer-branded app or can be fully integrated into existing apps and POS platforms. It works with technologies such as in-store beacons and QR codes to prompt guests to download and use the app, and enables users to open their check, add, remove and customise orders, and pay for services.

“As a Gold Partner for Oracle Hospitality in Ireland, we were immediately interested in joining forces with fellow Gold Partner QikServe, who offer a solution that can help fulfill a growing demand in the sector,” said Peter Martin, sales manager for POStech Ireland.

“Many hospitality operators across Ireland are very interested in adopting mobile ordering and payment and they can now access a fast, cost-effective option for doing this.”

POStech is a leading supplier of electronic POS systems to the food, beverage and hospitality sector, with clients including Radisson Hotels, The K-Club, Dalata Group, Captain America’s and McGegittan’s.

“We are excited at the prospect of helping bring mobile ordering to the Irish hospitality sector,” said Daniel Rodgers, chief operating officer for QikServe. “POStech is exactly the kind of high focused partner that we look to work with and we are looking forward to a successful relationship with them.”
