QuickPlay Powers US Video Services

Mobile TV and video solutions provider QuickPlay Media has revealed that it is powering mobile video stores for American Interactive Media and Red Planet Media, offering customers a wide variety of TV and video content, including Japanese anime, comedy and Spanish-language news and entertainment. The content on these recently-launched off-portal mobile video services is available for download and streaming to more than 35 million video-enabled customers on the AT&T and Sprint networks in the US.
Services are available through a monthly subscription or pay-per-download which can be charged directly to a customers mobile phone bill, or paid via a credit card. Premium content from Red Planet Media includes Japanese anime series from FUNimation, Spanish language feature films from Cine Mexicano and Spanish language news from Noti Mobile. American Interactive Media provides comedy clips from ComedyNet.
To drive service adoption and usage, QuickPlay enables content partners to promote their fully-branded mobile video stores by supporting Shortcode access and web-to-mobile promotions, and by enabling them to offer channels for free.
QuickPlay offers a unique and proven solution that simplifies all of the components of content ingestion, management, distribution and reporting of video asset performance, says Red Planet Media CEO, Dean Fresonke. Our partnership with QuickPlay allows us to easily offer a wide variety of content on mobile, and to connect our brands with new customers in exciting ways.
