Samsung has unveiled two handsets in its Galaxy range of smartphones – the Samsung Galaxy Young, and Galaxy Fame.
Both devices run on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), and are slightly behind those of the Galaxy S3 in terms of specs. There’s not too much differentiating the two handsets, with the Galaxy Fame boasting a slightly bigger screen – 3.5” compared to 3.27” – and NFC capabilities, but they’re otherwise more or less identical.
It’s unclear exactly what gap they’re meant to fill in Samsung’s roster of handsets – presumably, based on their specs, they’re intended to represent a cheaper option in the Galaxy range, but details of pricing haven’t yet been announced.
Both devices will be available in the UK from March 2013.
