Showpad launches Experience following acquisition of Hickup

Showpad Experiences platform
Sales enablement platform Showpad has launched a new immersive presentation platform that aims to ensure that sales and marketing teams stay one step ahead, using technology based on the mobile sales playbooks created by Hickup, the London-based start-up that was recently acquired by the firm.

Described as helping buyers “the way Waze helps drivers”, Showpad Experiences converts static marketing materials into immersive, interactive branded experiences for clients and prospects, enabling mobile conversations to follow the growth of the value-driven model for sales, where experience has the biggest outcome on success.

“Showpad Experiences is going to change how sales teams have conversations with clients and prospects,” said Pieterjan Bouten, CEO of Showpad. “The acquisition of Hickup furthers our dominant position in this exciting market.”

Hickup’s core team, including founder Julien Lescure, has joined Showpad as part of the acquisition, and will continue to focus on product design and development. The Showpad Experiences platform has already been rolled out to a number of Showpad clients, with the technology now available to more than 1,000 customers.

“Showpad Experiences adds value to the way we engage with our customers, ultimately improving our ability to convert more business,” said Graham Leeson, head of communications at Fujifilm. “It increase sale productivity, more deeply engages our buyers and gives marketing the power to control content.”
