Skyscanner TwizooTravel price comparison site Skyscanner has Twizoo, a user-generated content (UGC) startup, to bring social content integrations to its hotel reviews and recommendations. The terms of deal are undisclosed.

London-based Twizoo’s six-member team, which includes co-founders Madeline Parra and John Talbott, will join Skyscanner’s over 900 strong team. They will join its recently-moved-to office in Tottenham Court Road, London, linking up with the more than 120 employees based there.

“Skyscanner aims to serve all traveller needs, from inspiration through to planning and booking,” said Bryan Dove, CTO of Skyscanner. “Twizoo’s technology surfaces customer opinions from social media, providing real value to traveller decision making. We’re delighted to have the highly talented Twizoo team join us.”

Twizoo CEO Parra added: “Skyscanner is built by travellers, for travellers. Their emphasis on authenticity and transparency reflect Twizoo’s own values. Travel is inherently social and we’re excited to work with the Skyscanner team to integrate our technology into their world-class travel search products, giving travellers invaluable insight through user generated content shared on social media.”
