Vodafone has been revealed as one of the first partners for Specific Media’s recently launched advertising technology which targets wi-fi users at home.
Mobile in the Home monitors online behaviour across smartphones and tablets to identify at-home users and serves ads, including video and rich media, based on these behavioural and contextual patterns.
Vodafone ran a campaign aimed at people who are using devices in their downtime as they begin the buying decision process, to help drive traffic to the Vodafone E-Store.
A spokesperson from Vodafone said: “By enabling companies to engage with consumers when they are at home connected to wi-fi, using Mobile In The Home we can reach users in a relaxed mindset, when they are more likely to engage with advertising. To overlay this with Specific Media’s extensive online data network to target in-market users across mobile devices is an innovative and exciting development in mobile advertising.”
