Location data and map advertising specialist NAVTEQ has signed Telmap, a provider of end-to-end, white label mobile location-based services, as a publisher of its NAVTEQ LocationPoint ad network, thus opening it up to millions of users of Telmap’s premium location-based services.
Telmap’s Mobile Location Companion is designed to serve on-the-move users’ search, mapping and navigation requirements, offering information related to traffic, speed cameras and points of interest. Now, with NAVTEQ LocationPoint ads, users of Telmap Mobile Location Companion will be able to receive location- and context-aware banner ads and special offers, as well as being able to view branded points of interest on the map, via smartphone and mobile and personal navigation devices.
LocationPoint allows NAVTEQ’s roster of clients to deliver hyper-local mobile ads and special offers when consumers approach advertised locations, and built-in features make it easy for consumers to shop, buy or save coupons for later use.
