Text Promo Offers Rugby Prizes

Wireless service provider Hybyte and mobile marketing company MOBI  have been appointed to manage the technology and marketing for brewer Greene Kings RBS Six Nations text to win campaign.Throughout the championship, Greene King IPA will be issuing 3 million scratch cards and offering consumers a 1 in 8 chance of winning prizes. These include a VIP day for two and seven pairs of tickets to watch England versus France at Twickenham, and pairs of tickets for the Wales versus England and Scotland versus Ireland games. Other merchandise available includes 3,500 England rugby shirts and over 300,000 bar prizes of either a rugby ball key ring or a rugby window sticker.Consumers will receive a scratch card when they buy a pint of Greene King IPA.  To enter the competition, they scratch off a panel to reveal a unique code, then text GKIPA followed by a space with the unique code to 83211. If successful, the consumer then receives a congratulatory text which will include information on the prize they have won and how to claim it.  If the VIP Day or RBS Six Nations tickets are won, the consumer will be contacted via telephone to arrange logistics and delivery. The scratch cards will be available in 3,000 pubs across the country, with each pub receiving 1,000 scratch cards.
